A refreshing new season

Our team of maintenance volunteers have been hard at work over the winter preparing the tunnels for the 2016 season, NOW OPEN.

Please see the main White Cliffs of Dover page for more detailed up to date opening time information. Note that tickets can no longer be reserved online or by phone booking.

A fantastic first season

Thank you to all our visitors and volunteer guides this year. The tunnels are now closed for the winter, they will be re-opening in March 2016.

Meanwhile we will be routinely maintaining the tunnels and developing further works in conservation of the sound mirrors.

Open sesame

The big day has arrived! After 18 months of blood, sweat and tears by our amazing team of volunteers, contractors, engineers, surveyors, archaeologists, photographers, videographers, bloggers and managers, YOU can now finally visit this incredible time capsule hidden beneath The White Cliffs of Dover.

Opening times:

Friday – Monday until 1st November. Tours every 30 minutes from 10:30 – 16:00.

All visits to the tunnels are by timed ticket (including members). Tickets can be booked on arrival at the visitor reception, or if you are making a special journey you can book in advance. There is a limited number of spaces available each day so an early sell-out is likely.
